Reflection support, with clear limits
Runeka can support planning, writing, self-reflection, and user-entered wellbeing tracking. It does not provide therapy, diagnosis, treatment, professional advice, or emergency monitoring.
AI-generated and fallible
Generated reflections are visibly labelled AI-generated. They can misunderstand context, omit important facts, reproduce bias, contradict themselves, or sound confident while being wrong. Observations are limited to selected text; interpretations are hypotheses such as “one possibility,” never facts about your feelings, memories, motives, relationships, personality, or health. You are the authority on your own experience and may choose Not accurate, Too deep, Just listen, Stop, or Discard.
Not a therapist or healthcare service
Runeka and Therapeutic Reflection are not a licensed therapist, psychologist, psychiatrist, doctor, healthcare provider, medical device claim, diagnosis, treatment plan, or substitute for professional care. “Therapeutic Reflection” describes a deeper, therapist-informed reflective-writing mode with a bounded session; it does not create a therapeutic relationship. Runeka does not diagnose or treat depression, ADHD, trauma, anxiety, personality disorders, or any other condition.
Not crisis or emergency support
Runeka does not continuously monitor your entries, cannot assess immediate safety, and may fail to recognize urgent language, especially across languages, idioms, spelling, indirect statements, or quoted/historical text. A deterministic safety route can interrupt ordinary reflection for some explicit phrases, but it is not a risk assessment. If you or another person may be in immediate danger, contact local emergency services or a trusted person who can stay with you now. Use only localized resources supplied by Runeka’s reviewed safety route; do not rely on a guessed hotline number.
No professional or high-stakes advice
Output is not medical, mental-health, legal, financial, employment, relationship, safeguarding, or other professional advice. Do not use it as the sole basis for medication changes, reporting or legal decisions, financial commitments, ending or escalating a relationship, employment action, or another consequential choice. Seek a qualified human who can understand the complete situation.
Another person’s intentions are unknown
Runeka must not confirm accusations, paranoia, manipulation, abuse, dishonesty, motives, diagnoses, or relationship dynamics as fact from one person’s Diary text. If an output does so, treat it as unsafe, discard it, and report the behavior without sending Diary content unless you separately choose a future content-sharing feedback path.
Wellbeing records remain your report
AI may offer a tentative, non-numeric possible wellbeing signal and ask whether you want a check-in. It does not infer or silently update mood, energy, stress, sleep, satisfaction, charts, trends, or scores. Only values you independently enter or explicitly review and confirm are stored as user-reported wellbeing. Unconfirmed signals do not affect calculations.
Patterns and memory are bounded
One entry is not a pattern. Pattern language requires enough distinct selected days and may still be wrong. Local recurring-word or tag features describe text recurrence, not emotion or clinical status. Long-term context is not a hidden psychological profile: only an interpretation you explicitly approve can become an approved memory, and you can review, revoke, or delete it.
Cloud processing is optional and exact-scope
Private Journal creates no cloud reflection. Other modes require separate cloud Diary consent and a user-invoked exact-scope receipt. The selected Diary text, optional confirmed wellbeing, approved memories, and bounded session context may be processed by the Runeka API and its server-selected AI provider. Unrelated tasks, calendar, email, focus, and workspace data are excluded. Provider retention, training, and region depend on the deployed account and must be disclosed accurately before release.
Adults-only initial beta and reporting
The initial external beta is for adults aged 18 or older and must begin with synthetic/sample entries; real Diary entries remain optional. Any diagnosis, dangerous instruction, crisis mishandling, false therapist credential, or strong unsupported certainty pauses that mode or provider test until corrected. Passing automated tests does not establish clinical benefit or safety.
Your mandatory rights remain
This disclaimer explains product limits; it does not waive consumer, privacy, product-safety, or other rights that applicable law does not allow the operator to waive. See the Terms of Use and Privacy Notice.
